Since this week is review week, Tuesday’s Robotics lecture will be replaced by an extra hour of labwork later in the week. There will therefore be no class at all on Tuesday. In fact, I’m going to investigate the possibility of booking one of the labs for the full three hours following our normal 2-hour lab session on Thursday. If that’s possible, it will mean a marathon 5-hour robot building extravaganza.
Although five straight hours of robotics sounds absolutely great to me, I realise it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, so I’ll be leaving it up to each of you to decide how long you want to stick it out. Let me know if you’d like to book an individual meeting during that time to discuss the mini-project or any other practical issues you may be having with whatever you’re building. We can organise a 30-minute consultation at a specific time.
So, to summarise:
- No class at all on Tuesday (30-10-2012).
- Probably no lecture on Thursday (1-11-012).
- Probably 5 hours of robotics labwork between 2-7pm on Thursday (1-11-2012), subject to room availability.
- Since each of you are at different places with your practical work, it’s up to you how long you attend on Thursday, but if you want to book an individual consultation at a specific time, just let me know.
